The litigation NUGA CHAMBERS has considerable experience in representing clients in banking disputes in both trial and appellate courts.
In dealing with the litigation problems of our clients, our first priority is to define their goals and objectives and then select the approach best suited to achieve results most expeditiously and in a cost effective manner.
The firm recognizes that its clients interests are not always best served by litigation and therefore recommends alternative forms of dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration where appropriate. Thus, we are able to minimize the inefficiencies and unnecessary costs of litigation which can be encountered in the absence of a well defined strategy, while maximizing the potential for a satisfactory resolution.
Roughly 60% of our lawyers focus on litigation and arbitration and we have successfully represented several companies in the oil and gas, banking and finance, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries which in the recent past have included ChevronTexaco, Total, Moni Pulo Limited, Daewoo Corporation, Michelin, Benin Republic LNG Limited, MTS First Wireless. In addition, we have represented several private individuals and are involved in public interest litigation.
